Licensed Social Worker (LICSW):
The Licensed Social Worker (LICSW) is responsible for providing individual and group counseling, case management services, and collaborating with outside community agencies as needed (DCF, Probation, inpatient detox facilities, etc.). He/she will counsel patients, monitor patients’ progress, while being compassionate and sensitive to their needs and concerns. The Psychiatric Counselor will also work with patients’ primary physicians and/ or social workers to continue recovery after treatment.
